Balinese Massage has existed since the ancient times of the Indonesian kingdoms of old. Along with Hinduism, merchants from India introduced their healing arts collectively known as Ayurveda. Next, Chinese traders contributed their knowledge of acupressure and reflexology which the Balinese people gradually incorporated into their corpus of traditional massage techniques thus giving rise to a wholesome blend that treats the whole body. It is thus a truly holistic treatment that targets the musculature and nerves of the entire body to relieve tension, resolve blockages and restore balance. With its focus on bringing about relaxation and rejuvenation Balinese Massage is a soft and gentle treatment that will leave you energized and hungry for more.

This form of massage is quite similar to a typical relaxing Swedish Massage with the major difference being the application of greater pressure.Thumbs, knuckles and elbows are recruited to deliver more force and reach the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. This is done so that muscle adhesions (knots) may be “ironed out” and dissolved in order for optimal blood circulation to be restored.Because particular emphasis is given to the specified problem areas, a Deep Tissue massage is often more intense and it might take a few days to fully recover from. Despite this, a Deep Tissue treatment promises to improve circulation, reduce pain and increase range of movement.

The origin of Thai massage is shrouded in legend as the person credited with its development is the personal physician of the Buddha himself. This ancient natural healing modality is based on the principle of the Sen lines which are largely identical with the meridians employed in Chinese acupressure. To unblock and stimulate these subtle channels firm pressure is combined with yoga-like stretches which are employed to unlock the entire body. The trademark techniques that have made Thai massage famous worldwide effectively reduce muscle stiffness and pain while at the same time enhance flexibility, boost energy and stimulate the circulatory and immune systems. This uniquely holistic treatment is made even more interesting as it is typically carried out on a mattress on the floor, wearing loose and comfortable clothes and notably without the use of any oils.

By far the most popular choice as it targets the needs of most modern individuals who spend too much time on a chair – either driving or working- and not enough time moving about and using their bodies to their fullest. Targeting the key areas of the calves, lower back and neck this treatment begins with a healthy dose of Thai massage techniques to stretch and warm up the body before “ironing” everything neatly with some Deep Tissue magic. The “weapon” of choice that promises the best results in terms of alleviating stress, unblocking the pelvis and reducing muscular tension throughout the body. A full body experience like no other. Try it for yourself.

Cupping therapy is a form of traditional medicine that originated in China and West Asia. People have practiced this method for thousands of years to ease pain and release tension. Cupping uses suction to gently pull up tissue and at the same time draw blood to or away from specific areas of your body. The mechanical effect of cupping increases local blood flow and stretches underlying tissue to stimulate the body’s natural healing mechanisms. This manipulation of the body’s fluids serves to stimulate the body’s lymphatic and immune systems as well. Give it a try and feel the difference.
Really great massage and price, but Evthoras also seems to be someone who really cares for his clients well-being. He gave me lots of advice on how to do exercises in my daily life to deal with back pain. Both dry massage and oil massage were amazing. Super clean as well! Would definitely recommend.
